2011 X3--taking delivery today! - XBimmers

Thought I'd start a new thread with a new title. I'll be sure to post pics for you guys.

time frame for you all:

-I placed my order on 11/1- got a production at the same time.
-Car went into production on 12/9.
-Completed and released to a carrier on 12/17.
-Sat in S.C until 12/22 when it was loaded on a truck, and arrived at my dealer that same day around 1230pm.

Delivery is scheduled for around 1pm today (12/23)

Specs on the car:

X3 2.8i
Alpine white/black
Sports Activity Pkg
Heated seats/Steering wheel
Xenon
Rear view camera
PDC

OH MAN, amazing!!..after driving this car for a total of 32 miles today, I already like the drive of this better than my LCI 335i E92(minus the power ofcourse!)!! here's a few pics for you guys

and the tips I got...were for the 328i, thought they would fit..but they do NOT..so I'll have to wait I guess for the accessories to become available...

Also, I do not have any floor mats yet, as they are not available..they do not even have a part # for it...so when they come in, I'll go get them!

Also--to the euro guys that are still waiting on your cars...sorry for the wait!! but you guys get to go through what we over here have to, when waiting for our cars that get built in Germany...the wait for the ship ride sucks!! but good luck!

How's the steering , stuff compared to your E92 335 coupe , I am trading my E92 328 xi coupe love the ride but live in Jersey and 1 wheel and 3 tires later I just had enough , I will order the tips and mats before the car gets here , do you use a iPod and did you have to get the cable for it ?

steering is amazing...feels really really soft...not really sure how to explain..

I did use my Ipod...and the connector came with the car..my CA put it in the owners manual when going over it.

Beautiful vehicle

I just saw this at my dealer when picking up my 328

It is amazing...BMW enhanced it so much

It can easily be mistaken for an x5, pictures dont do it justice

Looks damn nice brosef!! Congrats! I know that dealership anywhere! Global Imports! Freaking parking deck full of bimmers. Blows my mind everytime. Their inventory is rock solid. You know they have 6 M3s in inventory!?!? 6!!!! But I digress. Congrats on the cool whip!

Also I'm gonna guess that you're either Hindu or Buddhist (I'm Hindu) (I also live in the A). I noticed the small golden statue you've got in the ride already. Can't tell if it's Ganesh or Buddha. I'm guess Ganesh.
