I liked the Auxiliary Heating feature. Wish it is more common on bmw line up

I am running an X3 xDrive20d just now and over the Christmas period. And I must say the interior Chrome package which is fitted in my vehicle is a real highlight and adds even more premium feeling to the already high quality interior.
Today it coped admirably with the annual "Tannenbaum" collection and the shopping for extra Konst Smide LED's , amongst other stuff.
The good thing about the X3 is that it feels more solid and more robust than previously , no wonder why xDrive 20d Deliveries in Europe are well into Spring at earliest.

Is the x3 yours? Or has it got to go back in the new year?

Colleague has this on his new X5 and he loves it (from memory it was a £1500 option)

If they have offered this as a part cold weather pkg. in US, I'd pay for it.

Local dealer quoted £46.00 for the 2.0d chrome exhaust trim - no stock available for order yet apparantley (I think they will be popular in the UK)

Don't expect any change to that any time soon either. I emailed them about the main brochure as I wanted a PDF copy and the reply is below - no mention of when it might get updated. I don't think their website is a priority for them which is a shame because it's most people's first point of reference.

I'm going to request a printed accessories brochure too. In for chrome tips but not sure on titanium grille yet.

They do make it very difficult to spend money with them on accessories, the brochure does not come with part numbers or prices!

They brochure appears 99% the same as the pdf link at the start of this thread so im confused why they can add it to their site (a 5 minute job)

Its strange but the picture of the 20d chrome exhaust trim in the brochure and pdf is invisible and is simply a picture of the normal exhaust without the trim (strange but true) - probably didnt have any to photo?

I bet you will get the titanium grille - no doubt!!!!

The person in charge of e-commerce at BMW UK needs his or her ass kicking IMO! Slow unresponsive website. Difficult to find anything. Outdated design. Lots of information simply not there at all that should be. I might find out who it is and write them a letter.

The design, information and responsiveness of www.volkswagen.co.uk is infinitely better for example.

Got my printed brochure in the post today and it's all very interesting but it's accessories for the OLD X3!! I specifically said 2011 and the dealership who sent it are the same as the one I have ordered the car with. Clowns!

I have also sent an email to the managing director of BMW UK and Ian Robertson making a few suggestions about the website so expect sweeping changes 2011

I enjoyed writing the email and kept it all constructive and positive. Will post if I get a reply even if it's just a boring generic one written by his PA.

Rapidly running out of X3 things to do and still at least 6 weeks to wait. Hope your April date comes forward for you!

Australian web page now has the brochure on line. At least an english version is now available. I do understand that quite a few things are standard in Australia versus other countries.
