I wonder what subtle differences the xDrive30d is going to have when it's launched. Or do we think we can already tell by looking at e.g. the xdrive35i ?

Not convinced about the 20" rims on the SE version (best for the M-Sport me thinks) but the black grille looks great (probably better without the X-line package)

can you flare the wheel arches out and add wider wheel to recreate the muscular stance of the X5?

It's such a shame that the X3 looks like a stretched version of the hideous X1 rather than a smaller X5.

Sounds like your after the X3 in M sport spec

Colleague has X5 M Sport with flared wheel arches and they do look mean

Nice look. BTW, I'm going for the opposite, ordering a 20d but would love to get the chrome grill. I think it's only available as a spare part. Can you advise if it's easy to install?

Love the black grill, don't know why BMW does not include that as an option.

That's funny as the 20d comes with black and I'm paying to have the titanium added by the dealer.

+1 looks like a face with no nose IMHO because of the Xline which calls out for a titanium grill to compliment the bling!
