I went to the plant a couple months ago, they were just starting to build prototype X3s and it was really cool to see. That place is hugeee btw

Notice how the only North American spec X3 in the photos was the one with all of the workers gathered around?

So lets get this straight, its built in North America, yet it's still available first in Europe!

Great pics! Hey, whats up with the blue one in the post paint finish area? Is that a custom color or just the lighting in the pic? Looks like a Lemans blue rather than the deep sea blue offered in most countries.

That said, did you see any other colors?

Was there two weeks ago for the X3 Ride & Drive. It really is incredible but the MOST incredible part is that Hall 52 where all the assembly is done is completely quiet. You can literally hear a pin drop on the assmebly line during production. No one needs hearing protection and the facility is absolutely spotlessly clean.

BMW X3 xDrive20d is sold out across Europe until next April.
The car has proved to be immensely popular with interest rising day by day.
So much so that in Germany, BMW are sending dealers examples from their own fleet for exclusive customer viewings and drives.

The new X3 is off to a great start.

Ever since I was little, I've loved to see pictures of cars in production. These are excellent photos which I admire and adore til the end of time. Simply awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
