Nope - Both N54 and N55 motors have fuel pump issues. Be smart, get the Xdrive30i

just buy the n55 power plant. Its an awesome motor and if u do have problems know that its 100 percent fixed costing you 0 dollars.

Some might have a problem with dribbling over to the side of an 8 lane wide urban expressway at night on the way home from a movie at midnight. The knowledge that it won't cost anything is the least of their concerns as semis blast by at 70mph, rocking the car with the kiddies inside each time, for the hour plus it takes to get a tow out of there.

Or on the other extreme, it's Sunday and you're headed home from Disney World with 2 small kids and this happens in rural Georgia. It's an hour tow to the shop, but that's IF you can even find a tow truck to get out there. Did I mention that it's also summer and 95 degrees out? The tow truck will be there in 2 hours. Have a fun time waiting for it. Hope you don't overheat sitting there idling and the AC goes out.

And then there's just those who are plain busy. 50 hours at the office, another 10 commuting, family obligations, etc. Who wants to spend time heading to/from the shop, especially if it's not exactly close by?

The idea of a vehicle like this often appeals to those who venture further than the local starbucks and the mall. They might prefer the reliability of the non-turbo until BMW clearly fixes the HPFP issue for good.

Lmao, then why even drive a car, any of those issues can happen to any one on any given day. Your choice of the extremes is ridiculous.

Ok, since you can't seem to read with comprehension or display any common sense and think its fun to call those who happen to have common sense crybabies or sissies...

If a hypothetical person knowingly chose to drive around a car with a proven failure issue that has affected thousands of vehicles and caused documented safety concerns, and this person considered it "the same as driving any car", especially one with a contrastingly well proven reliable engine, then that person would have to be considered a MORON and a FOOL.

Consumer reports. TrueDelta.com. Edmunds.com. Any BMW forum out there. Go read those sites about this problem and tell me it's the same as any car.

It's a choice to take on the added risk. But only a CLOWN FANBOY would consider it the same as driving a proven reliable car.

You might consider reading more and spending less time making silly graphical altars to a car. How old are you anyway?

Since folks are already reporting HPFP issues with the new N55 engine, you don't have to be a genius to expect the same will happen with the X3 35i. That's why I will be looking at the X3 28i instead. First I had to settle for the 328i instead of a 335i. Now this. BMW disappoints me again. Hopefully, the gorgeous new X3 interior, 8 speed ZF transmission and reliable inline 6 engine will make me forget my pain.

Not sure what you want me to be reading about.. Instead of thinking of the worse, I'll continue to drive and love my car.
