X3 xDrive35is or X3 M-Sport (F25) in the cards?
Here is a very insightful post by BMW insider Scott26/27 who mentions that an iS version of the X3 is definitly fair game, especially in the USA where such a model could find itself in some demand.

assuming this will be equipped with some form of the N55, i may consider this for the next car.

The X3 will be on sale in the EU prior to launching in the US. Expect a similar launch pattern to the recent 5 GT if sources are correct. The US will also see a new ordering system where customers can package their cars a bit more personally (like in the EU).
The X5 LCI will debut in Geneva and will also feature a different way of ordering- sources indicate that X5s will be in levels like Audi currently offers. Base, Luxury or Sport (along those lines as final naming has not been established). At this point there has been no official news, I am reporting what I have heard from people that have a good track record (was perfect until recently ) |
