The lowering is only 10mm so hard to spot unless the pics are taken in totally identical positions.

I thought that X models were not lowered when it had M Package.

is the fact that the bottom parts are painted that make the illusion it is lowered?

Anyway thank you very much for you cool picture of your car. It looks very very good in this color

Optical Illusion. Painted sides+ bigger wheels make it look lowered but it is not.

I don't think lowered, just stiffer dampers/shocks. Unless "Performance Control" (whatever it is) changes height?

I assume also that bigger alloys = lower profile tyres, therefore negligible difference in overall wheel size and ride height from 18" to 19" ?

inamik75 - I would love more photos of that m sport, inc interior, please.

That´s correct, it´s just stiffer whithout lowering the car. I ordered it with normal suspension though

Indeed it seems it's not lowered, I shouldn't have believed the salesman, nothing new there! I checked the dims on the UK site, no difference in height between suspensions.

You are correct - I was generalising on the difference between wheel combos as its been a constant consideration for me. I love the 19" but for practical reasons I'm going with 18".

If you want a lowered BMW with cargo space... get a Touring.

Or a Cayenne with air suspension, which you can adjust height.
