I saw the pics earlier, but they didn't identify the vehicle. Poor sleeping guy waking up to that - and then to be there for over an hour getting burned...

i posted that earlier today to the X5 forum... i feel like a stranger over there even though they are built right across the parking lot in South Carolina I had to find the local CT newspaper to get close enough picture to see which model it was...

Yeah, figures. Over enthusiastic cops decided to engage in a chase, which caused the accident in the first place, then (I suppose while they were fumbling in their shirt pockets for their bullet, while trying not to drop the donut) they let the guy get away. Meanwhile, some poor bastards house is probably condemned and he has medical bills and trauma.

They suspected he might have been wanted for traffic offenses. This is good enough reason to give chase? I hope the injured man sues the department for millions.
