N20B20 engine: WHEN?

This engine is already available for X1, it has two versions: 184 h.p. and 245 h.p., but what is the difference between them? Seems like all component numbers are the same... firmware?

Seems like 184 h.p. engine is already available for European markets X3, but what about 245 h.p. versions?

There are three active threads asking the same question...

BMW has confirmed that the N20 will replace all the older engines throughout the lineup but it has not confirmed exactly when this will occur for each model.

BMW main model year change is September, so that is a likely candidate, but purely speculation until confirmed.
