can you fit a spare tire anywhere?
Hi All, I am considering an F25, however, I am really hung up on the lack of a spare tire. I live up in the mountains and require studded tires. I've been running Nokian Hakkas this past winter and they are a dream! However, they don't seem to build the 245/55-17 size in a runflat tire required for the F25. As a matter of fact, runflat tires in the 245/55-17 are not very plentiful. For someone who puts 20k per year on a car, tires seem to come every 1.5 years. Having to buy runflats seems excessive.
By chance, is there anywhere on the F25, specifically under the rear hatch lid, on top of the battery compartment, to fit a spare tire? This is one of the only things keeping me from throwing down for an F25! |

No room under rear boot/trunk floor (might fit a skinny spaceholder), or at the front. Your only chance may be to utilise the roof rails/bars.
FYI: I run Nokian winter RFTs on 18' (245 50) without studs, and they are good - very under rated. |
