Shift boot?

I'm still waiting on my car but I noticed that some of you have a small leather shift boot and others nothing. What defines if you get the leather boot? Kind of hope I got the option/package that gives me the leather one. I got convenience, cold weather, M sport, premium, premium sound, and tech.

3.5i turbo = shift boot
2.8i NA = no shift boot

Really felt like having a car that I was NOT going to mod but has anyone installed this in the 28i?

I think this requires a whole new shifter. If you look at realoem, there are photos of the part. I thought about it, but I am not sure it's worth hundreds of dollars.

Just looked, totally different shifter. Kind of dumb but I guess I'll live.
