Where is the xenons? Hahaha, don't say I didn't tell you to get it!

Just curious, why did you drive all the way out there to take pics? It's not like you have chosen a nice background or something. Weird.

In your opinion. I prefer the sheen and light play from a metallic finish over non-metallic.

Gratz on the car, looks stunning! Also interested in 3.0d performance as mine will be built on week 28, but I'm curious as hell to learn more about the car I've ordered!

Can anyone please clarify what does staggered mean? Could be the language barrier due to which I can't seem to understand that. Do you mean 19"?

Staggered in this case means wider wheels/tires on the rear versus the front.

I'm sorry to bring this offtopic, but could you please tell me how can this be achieved and what are the benefits apart from the looks?

Looks great. Thanks for the first pics of TiAg with M-sport. I pick mine up a week Tuesday. I think the only differences between mine and yours is I picked satin roof rails and the tires are not staggered with our M-sport.

Benefit is that the vehicle could have more traction in the rear during hard acceleration. To achieve this, just get wider wheels/tires in the rear. There are some drawbacks to staggered - tire rotation can't be front to rear and vice versa. Also, it's possible that staggered could mean a bit more understeer, although it's hard to say if it would happen in this case.

Great pictures from multiple angles

If I buy an X3 it will be the 30D. I appreciate it will need running-in but what is the throttle lag like at 1,500 rpm?

Thanks antman. I'm no real car buff, but the throttle lag is there (just) but should no by no means play any part in the decision as it does drive really well. can't speak for 20D, but I'm really glad I went with the 30d.. am sure you will be too should you decide to get the X3

Judging by the thread pattern, it looks like contisport contact3 to me.

Were these the factory tires that came on the X3?

The reason I ask is that if they are contact3 SSRs, then that means they are putting summer tires on the M-Sport rims, which seems odd given they are listed as all-seasons on the US website. Maybe this is specific to AUS?

the silver does look great with m-sport. my order was originally an AW until I saw one in person. the fender additions looked cheap and tacked on, IMHO. ended up ordering a carbon black since it's an exclusive m-sport color.
