Brightness of X3 Angel Eyes

Guys,

What brightness are the angel eyes set on the x3?

I'm guessing with daytime running lights its 100 %, but when you turn headlights on they go down to about 60 %?

I know with coding you can set them to 100% at all times
Here is an example on a car:

60 % stock on the left, 100% on the right coded

Not my car or photo lol.

A coder told me that its 100% at Daytime for X3 and 15% during your low beams on.
He says 100 would blind people at night lol, he said maybe boost to 50% at night.

Coder is wrong. Mine are coded to 100% at night. No issues with on-coming cars. Just better brightness for you.

Well, I had my X4 coded to 100% with low beams on. Too bright for me - it actually hurt my old eyes. Granted I never got flashed at night. The light from the angel eyes is diffused in some way unlike the main headlights. Anyway, to each his own. I had mine dialed back to about 65% AFAIK.

From Factory, Angel Eyes:
  • 100% DRL
  • 46% Low Beams
  • 46% Parking, Welcome, Follow-Me-Home, Remote Lights
Setting Corona rings with low beams too bright does result in glaring other drivers.
