Video - Rear View Camera Installation F25

Hi Everyone,

Here's an installation video that shows how to install a BimmerTech MMI Rear View Camera Kit on an F25.

Thanks for watching and try everything at your own risk.

Thanks,

Bryan

For the record, I dig the fact that the camera is integrated with the rear hatch handle and not drilling a hole into the trunk door like all the other aftermarket rear camera setups.

Hi there Bryan - your video helped me a lot so thank you.
I am needing some help or advice please regarding a warning that is coming up on my instrument panel saying "rear view camera failure". I have a 2011 X3 20d F25. The camera works fine but every time I start the car and select reverse I get the warning. I have removed the rear tailgate lining and checked the camera and cable out. All look fine. Nil damage or moisture. My local euro car service department could not clear the warning when they ran diagnostics. I ordered another camera from overseas. It arrived today after 3 weeks and I connected it but the message still appears. I have disconnected the battery for a while hoping it may reset but no luck. Both cameras work fine, it's just the message. I'm so frustrated. Someone suggested checking where the cable plugs into the REM? Where would I find that? Is there a better way to re-set error codes? If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has any ideas I'd be very grateful. Thank you, Dennis.
