Wood Trim Popped Out, any help?
I will try to post images below, the wood trim piece on the rear passenger door of my x3 popped itself out. No one sits in the back or anything hit the door to make this happen. I guess i need a new clip that holds it back in?

Thank you, i checked the link out, definitely clarifies a few things.
Today i dropped off car for a check engine light i have had lately, i did mention about the trim piece, maybe they wont want to charge me to fix it. But theres 99% chance they will! |

I had a check engine light which was fixed on friday at the dealer under warranty, they also fixed the door trim for me at no cost, which is great. Hope it doesnt happen again

Good news, but you should not have been worried.
If the car is under warranty and there is no wear and tear on this item, then they are obliged to fix it under the warranty. That's what it is for and BMW pays them for the work. |

It was for a faulty Meter Line, to be honest i dont know what it is. But i did do a search and found something related to brakes. But i really don't know. They said it was leaking and was losing pressure. My brake when i press it feels more firm now, before it felt spongey About the warranty, yes i have warranty but in canada at least dealers here have a policy where after 1 yr or 20,000 (whichever comes first) they will fix cosmetic defects. But when you go over that limit then they will want to charge you for fix. This is the same policy on my old car which was a vw jetta |

Weird. I guess that the Canadian warranty has different language from the one in US. I was thinking of moving because of Trump and friends but may have to reconsider now on account of this news.
