Drivetrain - Drive Moderately
Yesterday, a somewhat spirited left-right combination, but no tire squeal, no ESP flash, just a little more side forces than usual.
The result: Nanny comes online WARNING DRIVETRAIN - DRIVE MODERATELY. Refuses to take any accel pedal input, getting slower and slower. I stop, shut down the engine, restart - everything back to normal. WTF was that??? I HATE unreliable cars that you can't trust!! Had enough Renaults when I was a student. With my previous Audis I never had anything like that shit. Pisses me off. Will go to the station tomorrow. |

Go quick to the dealer and have the diesel filter, pump and reservoir checked. It happened to me on a 320d and at the end it was water mixed in diesel, that even in very small quantities can make big damage. By running a diagnose, the dealer should quickly understand where there problem originated.

Back from the station. Didn't really find any data on that drivetrain event in the "flight recorder". Instead found some battery issue a while back, which I hadn't noticed. And they silenced the hatch by attaching two grey plates left and right at the lights. They also put some felt around the central stack vents. Annoying sounds gone in both cases. Edit: Also had them update the nav.

clonck - clonck, metal on metal, as if you leave a toolbox with hammers in the back, over bumps, over manhole covers, over anything that challenged the body's torsional rigidity. On some days it was less pronounced than on others, somtimes after closing the tailgate it wasn't there for a couple of minutes at all.

Crazy. Never had it with any other car (Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Honda, Mercedes, Cadillac, plus a bunch of French brands unknown in the U.S.). And the literally only time I had electronic gremlins like that was in a Renault 25 which had a faulty harness.
