Mouldy sunroof
13 months of trouble free driving but when I opened the sunroof this evening the wind deflector was covered in white furry mould and the smell was very musty.
I guess there must be a leak from recent very wet weather, all I can say is boooooooo!

Definitely not something you'd ever want to see growing in or on the vehicle. Hopefully you just have a gap in weatherstripping or something and it's an easy fix.
On the flip side, since the wind screen is more of a wind 'net' is it possible you collected some fuzzy pieces of a tree or shrub? Maybe some other contaminent? Or maybe driven through some mist before you closed the roof? With it being cloth it will act as a sponge and I suppose, if put away wet, and with the right temps, mold could begin to grow.
