Congrats acove!!

I am also looking to get Mojave but my dealer doesn't have any cars with this interior to check out.

Are you able to send me a few more pics of the interior (without the use of the flash). It would be a huge help!

Cheers,
PK

I'm actually overseas right now, when I get back next week I will be sure to take some pics without the flash.

As far as the question about being happy about Mojave. Yes, extremely happy.

Thanks acove.

Could you also try to capture the wooden trim? The colour combination looked quite a match on your original pics.

We just ordered our X3 as well. We originally ordered the space grey ext with black interior. But we are considering making a change to either the mineral or white ext with the mojave interior. So you are pretty happy with the mojave? Like you, this vehicle is for my wife and I just want to get her a really nice combination. Thanks!
I've got TS with the mojave and light wood trim and I love the combination. The color is very elegant, especially with the contrast stitching. It shouldn't show dirt like the Oyster would, and it will be cooler in our hot Florida climate than black. I too purchased the Mojave with the Dark wood interior. I put a few pics up on an older thread and after one month I can say I am still EXTREMLY happy with the interior color. here's the thread with some other pics.

Fwiw, I think the aluminum would not look nearly as sharp as the wood. Maybe your CA was trying to do you a favor
Seriously though, for other people reading this with cars on order: track it on line! You can see your build options there, and correct any mistakes before it goes into production. The CA should show you how to do this. It's really quite simple and can save you from this kind of mess. Too bad the OP has to be the object lesson.

OP was pretty clear that online tracking didn't work out - one needs to get an actual print out from the dealer to confirm the options.

After BMW made some marketing spiel about the fast custom ordering process for X3, the jury is still out - the wait is just as long as the orders that go to Germany, and the quality of the service is questionable.

Anyway, Mojave is a nice color. I think it works better with the dark wood. the combination with aluminum won't be as good.

Curious, are your tyres runflats or not for they look like 17" ones.
