Leaking Passenger Floor After Rain

It rained hard over the weekend and noticed a drip on my all weather mats. I looked under the floor mat this morning and there is a puddle of water. I haven't had a chance to really inspect the car but taking a quick look I don't see where the water came from. I was thinking vapor barrier? I'm fairly new to BMW. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Unfortunately, a pretty common issue. There are drain tubes that run from the sunroof down the A-pillars in the front that often clog up. Best case scenario is that the exit rubber flap is where the problem is. Get under the car and on the inside of the longitudinal strength corrugation, you can feel a rubber flap and spout. Try to wiggle it or even remover it to clean it.

If that doesn't do the trick, the drain tubing is blocked higher up. You could probably try and feed in a weed-wacker plastic "wire" and see if that dislodges the dirt.

The leak comes from junctions in the drain tube.
