Sport Suspension

Hi there,

I didn't get the M sport model and only have an ordinary x3 20d with sport suspension. How would I know if dealer has fitted the sport suspension? Any advice?

Thanks

Drive over anything but a perfect asphalt road and you'll know!

You can't other than by comparing the feel of it against an X3 without sports suspension. I've driven both and own an X3 with sports suspension and it is firmer and also much less floaty. It makes the steering feel tighter too.

I got the dynamic handling package and have toggled back & forth many times. The normal setting is far too floaty. I was worried the sports setting with the 19" wheels would be rough but it's not. Wish the computer would remember the setting so you didn't have to reset it each time.

So you have a sport suspension?

If you set it to sport or sport + would it be too firm and harsh on uneven road surface?

Thanks.

I have sport suspension, it is tighter than the std but not rock solid as it can be on a 3 series with RFTs. In isolation you could have trouble being 100% sure, you need to compare with a non-sport setup.
