Can anyone tell me if the factory fitted towbar option for MSport version is completely hidden when not in use. Apparently it is electrically operated. Does anyone have any photos of it ?

There is an app called BMW x3 catalog ,you can view it there. It is on the apple system.

Watch the video in the thread link provided below, @1:20 to @1:30 you will see the towbar option working in real time, but that is the for the standard x3, I am not sure how the M version works.

The electric version shown in that video won't be available in the U.S. The BMW folks are supposed to have a towing package for the X3 sometime in April.
