Hi, I searched several threads on tpms module replacement and couldn’t an exact answer on coding. If I purchase a used sensor that has the same software number will this need to be coded for my car? 2011 x3 2.8 x drive

Used from eBay.

You will have to update it unless for some crazy reason you luck out and it works without. Won't truly know until you plug it in..

Right: on my f25 lci tmps module on the lower back side surprise was absent (and TMPS and RDC coded like disabled); searching on RealOem for the part number, buyed one like new from Spain, installed and coded because system wan't saw it. Coded by myself via esys worked like a charm.
