Not an answer to your question, but this is the one I'm going for when I get my X3. Not sure if they ship to the US, but hope they do as it looks almost factory fit - doesn't affect me as I'm in the UK, but for everyone else's benefit.....

Kiernan, that design is only for the older X3, not 2011+ F25. The seller does not have one for the F25.

Leighton, have another look; the car in the picture is an F25 and not an E83 (I should know, I tried to buy one for my existing E83 some time ago, but was told that they only do one for the F25). Also, the date says '11/2010>', which is when the current X3 went on sale in the UK.

I have a 2012 X3 and ordered a rear bumper protector from Zeta Products in New Jersey www.zetaproducts.net . The protector cost $39.95 plus shipping. It was easy to install and looks OEM.

Color doesn't appear to match with the bumper plastic. Am I correct?

The colors do match - the difference in the photos is due to the bumper protector being brand new. Now, 3 months after installation, you can't see any difference.

vojak, have a look at the link I posted up earlier.

That's the one I'll be getting when my car comes in October.

Hi Kiernan
I am awaiting the imminent arrival of my X3 SE and am interested in the RGM rearguard black plastic bumper cover. The photo shows an M model and the SE clearly has the black strip across the bumper which must come very close to the protector. Do you actually have one or does anyone out there have one? If so whats your opinion on fit, quality and appearance?

Chris, Don't have my car yet as it's only due to be built next week, so it'll be late September/early October before I get a chance to say how it fits. Also, I'm getting an M Sport so hadn't thought about how close it comes to the black strip on an SE.

Not much help I'm afraid; anyone else able to comment?

RearGuard for X3 F25

I've got one fitted to mine - I have used these on a number of cars over yars and they are very good and very well made. Easy to fit with self=adhesive pads

Hi BillyT
If you have an SE, how much of a gap is there between the bottom edge of the protector and the black bumper trim?
I think I need to order one anyway as my car arrives in 10 days time.

If you have an SE you will have a Matt black strip across the middle of the bumper. If you have an M version you won't have it.

The Rearguard butts up against the edge of the black bumper trim in the middle and tapers off to be about 10mm (3/8 inch) clear at outer edges
