Interior lighting question

My wife just got her new 2013 X3 a few weeks ago; great car. One question that I could use some help with, though.

When she turns on the headlights, the rear passenger side (only that one) courtesy light comes on. I tried messing with all the light switches I could find, and looked through the owner's manual, but couldn't find a way to turn it off while the headlights were on. Interestingly, if she turns the headlights off, then on again, the light goes out.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Sounds like a trip to the dealer. This must be a fault wire or something. I'm sure they'll laugh when they see it
