Why do posters ask this AFTER they have done the deal??

It seems to me that the question sets the poster up for possible unhappiness, and can ruin the fun of getting a new car.

Just my 2c.

yeah, so just make them feel good. But that his deal was not that bad. Every dealer, their inventory, their sales pace, region,.....is different. It is all about timing. I agree, once you do the deal don't look back, just enjoy.

Nothing to regret there. Nice discount off msrp. Enjoy!

Not bad. You took some money off of the sticker, which helps your pocket. You left a little on the table for the dealer's pocket. Fair is fair, a little for both pockets.

$3k off of MSRP is good - unless it includes $1k owner loyalty rebate then its so so Still not horrible though. When it comes in post picts, someone else wanted to see AW + Mojave a while back but couldn't find picts.

Same exact build as me but with different color leather, you've also got a few hundred off more than I did.

I know, I know. A little late now, but I'm just curious. I soooo have no patience to waste time dickering and playing the wheeling and dealing game. I basically told the guy, give me a fair price, I don't want to go back and forth. Let's save us both the time and effort. (That's gotta be worth something right?) Let's make this as simple easy fair as possible for both parties. My gut told me I got a fair price. Not the best but fair. But what the hell do I know. That's why I figured I ask here.

Now I just hope all goes well with the delivery! Getting anxious here...

because in the US we can always back out of a deal and sometimes when at the dealer and caught up in the moment you aren't thinking clearly and make a decision you might regret later (which is the reason we can back out even after we put a deposit down).

I labored forever about the interior color. I too could not find pics in the mojave/alpine white/wave combo. All I really went by was a swatch. It was between the mojave and the oyster. I figured the mojave was the more practical choice. And a nice contrast to the white. I originally thought I'd get the beige but upon sight, way too much beige and a little to 'yellow-y' in tone for my taste. So mojave it is.

I've been dickering back and forth for a few weeks and still haven't gotten the deal you got.

I think the price you got is reasonable good. Here in Norway they will charge $150K or so for this model. Despite this price, the X3 is very popular in Norway, though with less power than than the 35i.
