Pirelli Sottozeros - a brief review
This is my second year using Sottozeros in the winter. Last winter there was no snow to speak of. Sunday we had snow showers here in Philadelphia, 4-8 inches of showers. LOL The Sottozeros were awesome. I didn't loose traction anywhere. Unfortunately there were a lot of cars on the road with their "all season" tires - mediocre in the summer, fair in the winter, bad in the snow and ice. I went up and down hills with cars stuck (going up) and sliding downhill. They passed the test. Today a few more inches on the way. Can't wait to get out and drive. I'm glad I have them on.

Thanks for the feedback. The predicted snow for us did not materialize.

It's my second winter also with Pirelli Sottozero. I concur with your assessment. Have a safe Holiday season.

I'm not as impressed as you guys about the Sottozero's but I'm glad you are satisfied.

I was driving tonight in about 3" of snow and found the sotto's terrible for stopping. Obviously accelerating with all wheel drive ain't the problem.
To be fair I don't know if salt/sand had been put down and it was about -13c but other tires I've used are much better for stopping. i.e. Hakka's and Blizzaks I find the Sotto's about equal to a good all season tire.
