I should note though, my dealership for both X3s gave me nice gifts. I got a coffee mug and two polo shirts for each purchase.
Curious, did they respond?

My wife received a beautifully packaged gift from BMW last week. Opened it up, and some stupid ass pin that BMW supports the Olympics.

I received the cheesy BMW benefit card also. I called the GM at Co's BMW of Loveland where the car was purchased and she agreed that the card was quite useless and she would communicate that with BMW corporate.

She did mail me a very nice Black Leather Key chain (new model). I thought that was very nice of her to do that.

I too got the stupid card. What a waste of paper and plastic! On the bright side when I picked up my car they included wheel locks and gave me 2 BMW key chains with the name of the dealer on it. Nice keychains but wish they didn't have the dealership name on it. But atleast they gave me wheel locks which I had planned to buy anyways so that saved me some $$

I got from BMW... absolutely nothing. Out of curiosity, did anyone in Canada receive anything from BMW? We often get the short end of the stick compared to our American brothers and sisters.

Have not received anything outside of a couple of quarterly BMW magazines in my 8 months of ownership...

A few months after I picked up my 2013 X35I at the performance center in Spartanburg, I received a key fob flash drive in the mail. My dealer gave me some all weather floor mats and cargo liner. BMW CCA rewards program denied my application for the $500.00 rebate because my insurance company gave the dealer a $1200.00 discount. What a let down.

I agree - the cheap plastic BMW "ultimate benefit card" packaged in a beautiful white box was so pathetic and such a waste of everyone's time! BMW should be ashamed of themselves. I test drove a Porsche and they sent a better gift, though not by much. It was a poster and Porsche Sharpie.

I agree that BMW should be ashamed of themselves. I got this package today, did not understand what it meant, so I turn to the threads, only to find out that it is worthless.
Unbelievable they should stop this nonsense, whoever came up with this idea is insane, and all the ones who approve it are also INSANE.

I picked up my X3 11 months ago and the only thing I received as "a gift" due to the purchase is the lame card and fancy box it comes in.

I will say that my X3 came with a storage box- Velcro sides that allow it to be collapsed flat. The other freebie was a Cargo net. It was never made clear to me if this came from SC this way or the dealer "threw it in".

There's was an Ultimate Drive event at my local dealer this past early summer and they gave me a $15 BMW mug.

I joined BMW CCA for $50 or so that started some BMW magazines showing up- 1 of them I believe is due to buying the X3. Also, the membership gives me 20% off all my purchases of BMW accessories.

We were not very impressed with our purchase. Got the usual card and things people mention as well as some hats. We recently bought an Audi A1 for my wife. It was a demo from the dealership and paid about 1/3 the price for our X3 and they have been amazing. Given us a night at a local all-inclusive resort. (About 800/night if we booked). Went on a cruise around the harbor area with drinks/meal included and have recently invited us to their roadshow for free which gives me the opportunity to drive everything from an A1 to the R8. Step your game up BMW. Very disappointed...
