Where do you keep your Key?
So after a few weeks with the X3, I still have not found a place to keep the key while driving. I would have thought there would be a holder or slot to keep it somewhere, but couldnt find any.
Where do you keep your key while driving?

CA or no CA, I don't see why the key has to come out of the pocket, if that's where it is. Just reach in there and push the button to unlock/lock. Or, if you take it out, here's a radical thought: put it back.

I have CA, so I just keep it in the hole in the armrest on the drivers door. It means I can't start the car with the door open, but big deal. In my pocket, when I exit the car. When I leave my car in my garage, I just throw the key back in the the driver's door armrest. |

I've hired a young man to carry my key for me since with CA I don't need to touch it. He usually rides in the back right passenger seat where he makes subtle comments complimenting my general driving skills, lane changes, speed maintenance, parking spot selection, the quality of my parking job, and never ever changes the radio station.

I have the sports seats and keep mine in the recess created by having the thigh support fully extended, no rattle or vibration.

I have it duct taped to my gun sitting comfortably in my shoulder harness.
I’ve gotten some strange looks when I pull the gun out to unlock the door but nobody says anything. |
