Best all season Run Flats to get?

My X3 currently has non run flats, and I believe it originally came with the Goodyear LS2 Run flats which get a lot of criticism.

I want to go back to Run flats - any recommendations on what the consensus is on the best all season one to get?

To be honest the only one I am finding that's gotten great reviews is the Bridgestone Potenza RE60AS. I don't want the Goodyear LS2's, as they have been poorly rated.

Is that basically my choice?

Wheels are 19 inch 369 m sport rims - 245/45/19. Not staggered.

Discount Tire just replaced our 18" OEM Pirelli P7 Cinterato A/S R/F @ 24K miles and 3/32" remaining at centers with Bridgestones which measure 11/32". Of course with 1/4" of additional new rubber the car is quieter and feels good.

Yeah, that is the one that I want to get - although they always seem to be on very low stock of them.

I find it amusing that BMW recommends Run Flats, but there are so few on the market to actually choose from. It was impossible finding a winter or all season tire for my staggered 335i, unless I changed rims and sizes.

These re960as tires are always on back order though! They seem to be the only good choice for all season's in 19 inch 369m wheel sizes, as the Goodyear LS2's seem to be poorly rated.

Just put a new set on wife's E60, after experiencing them on the X3.

Why are you going back to run flats? I will be needed tires soon and am thinking of non-run flats.

+1.... I really do not see the advantage of runflats... If you get a puncture somewhere in the middle of nowhere, it seems to make more sense to use a tyre repair kit (incl. a mini compressor on board) instead of driving to the next dealer and pay 300+++ USD for a new tyre. no?

PS: isn't the suspension of the F25 set for run flats?

I don't know, I kind of like the car to be OEM spec - and my wife drives the X3 so I rather have run flats.

The newer run flats really aren't that bad, either.

Same here, I cannot imagine my wife using a tire repair kit on the side of the highway For those that wonder what the advantage of runflat is, in one word, SAFETY.

anyone here put the Bridgestone RE960AS tires on an X3 35i? I need to replace all 4 now within 1000 miles and they are going to cost some $500 less than Pirelli PZero Cintaurato's that are on mine now - reviews on the the Goodyears makes me think they are a worse choice - would love to try these bridgestones

how do they handle?
