Trying to upgrade HID bulbs...which is best?
Looking to upgrade my HID bulbs on my F25...Looking to get the philips D1S 6000K HID. Has anyone tried these out?

Personally, unless the bulbs have a ton of hours on them or they're just going bad, I wouldn't spend the money on upgrading.
It is estimated that 80% of these bulbs sold through outlets such as eBay or Amazon are fakes. Don't be fooled by ads offering these bulbs for anything less than $150 as there is a high chance the bulbs are cheap Chinese knock offs. counterfeit bulb check |

Agree with @pungo. Don't skimp on quality for a discount. I have done business with TRS over the years (among many other online shops) and have found the quality of their lighting products among the best.

The bluer the light, the less you actually see. Stick closer to natural light, which most OEMs consider 4300K color.

have not tried out the ones mentioned in 1st post.
but I can say I do like these Osram 66140 I picked up. $60 if you go the amazon route. be sure to buy from a reputable seller as there are multiple sellers on amazon |
