Gloss Black Grill
I have a X3 in carbon black and firstly, I wanted peoples opinion on a Gloss Black Grill...would you recommend OR should I keep my standard grill?
Anybody who may have the same colour X3 with the gloss black grill would be pleased to see... Secondly, where is the best place I can source 1 from? (I am in the UK) Thanks in advance for your input |

I'm based in London;
I changed my grill to gloss black this afternoon. I'm happy with the fit and the product. I paid £28 delivered from ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-F25-X...72.m2749.l2649 |

^^ on a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the install? I've put this off because of me reading its a PITA to install.

It is fiddly but possible! I did nearly give up after 7 mins but do not be afraid to bend stuff haha! It took me 15 mins from start to finish. All you need is: TORX 30 Long thin screwdriver |

Love that!! Again it's the new facelift front which looks 10x better then the pre facelift front 😏 £28 is a bargain! If only the seller sold the pre facelift! Im in Leicester 🙂 Definitely feeling the single slat grill - just looks allot cleaner IMO 👏🏽 |

As far as how easy it is. Its super easy. You just have to realize that you need to pull HARD. You are not going to break it. Just watch a video online. The first time I changed my grille it took me like 10 minutes each one because I was being gentle. Second time took me a combined 1 minute.

I would suggest buying a U shaped hook tool from any hardware store or amazon. It's cheap and will save you a lot of headache. After you remove first grill. You can then stuck your hand in and unclip the other grill. Very easy. I did it that for my install and with a butter knife. But was kicking myself for not buying the U shaped hook tool. Would have save me a lot of yelling and scratched forearms. Lol.
