Two times I've noticed that the tailgate hasn't closed as securely as it should. The first time it resulted in my hazard lights starting to flash. The second time the results were that the media screen cycled on and off. The only modification that I've had done on the tailgate is the installation of the Bimmertech back-up camera. Any one else have strange occurrences with their tale gate incompletely closed? I'd have thought just door not closed lights would come on.

Loaded up some over sized cargo at Home Depot the other day. Tailgate had to be held down with a bungee cord while lumber stuck out the back. I got the dash panel warning on the tailgate being open and the backup camera didn't work since the tailgate wasn't latched, but no flashing lights or other anomalies.
