I recently purchased a 2011 X3 xdrive with 45000 miles. Previous owner had a lot of deferred maint issues. Ran tests and now have it down to one error code concerning the 2nd 02 sensor. I have replaced the 1st 02 sensor, mass air flow sensor and air filter. Will do oil change and 2nd sensor next.

We have experienced punchy stop and go when starting out, we have also experienced loss of reverse and having the park light and brake lights remain on while driving although they are not active.

I have cleared the codes since replacing the 02 sensor and mass air flow, and now have one code concerning the 2nd 02 sensor.

I am not driving the car until the new sensor is in. Battery tests are good, transmission tests are good. We did have a chasis stabilisation message come up when the car would not reverse but that code is clear.

Is there any other area I should be looking at?
