Bluetooth Pairing With Iphone 4
Not sure why you are having problems in other markets. The 1998 model X3 sold in Australia pairs beautifully with iPhone 4.

BT Pairing
I had the same problem with pairing an iphone 4 with an '06 X3.
I ended up taking it to the dealer--the instructions on the web are incorrect. Here's the deal: --start the X3 --push the R/T button (not the voice activation button!) --the radio should indicate that the system is "Searching" --make sure that the BT mode on the phone is active --enter the passkey # for your vehicle's (it's located on the unit, remove the drivers side rear panel at the liftgate to see the ####. --the pone should then be paired. good luck |
