Hi everyone,
A new member from Western Canada. Has anyone any thoughts re: the following? Have 3,000 km on my 2012 X3 28i. When travelling at "operating temperature" the temp gauge always was at the "mark" between 70 and 120. Yesterday while travelling on the highway the temp gauge needle started to move above the "normal" and showed a reading between 70 and 120. For over 150 km it moved back and forth between 70 and 120. Never above 120 and never back to "normal". Appreciate any thoughts!

Just a guess:
Sticky or faulty thermostat or gauge is bad.
