No Nav? Or is it standard now?
I'd have been tempted to drop an option or two and get the 3.0d- Auto is standard, along with metallic paint (unless offer has changed).
I've got the pre-lci 3.0d. Great engine- loads of power, but excellent MPG when you want it.

Smile

Was tempted by the 3.0D, but stuck with 2.0D in the end!
Its plenty fast enough for me, and has a new aluminium engine - faster, more economical and better emmissions.

Business Sat Nav is std now

Has anyone seen an updated UK LCI brochure and pricelist for the X3?
There was mention of a new 2.0d engine in the thread.

If you go online it mentions they have given the 2.0d a bit more power 6bhp and more torque but same basic engine. Basic nav now standard

30D and 35D performance figures are better too without changes in power or torque. Maybe they changed the auto or engine maps or they are more aggressive with the figures. I'd love to know the reason.

I think you are right - its not a brand new engine - but a retuned one
Saw this from an early review on line:

Making its debut in the new X3 is a revised engine for the xDrive20d model. The 2.0 turbodiesel engine gets a new tune, now putting out 190 hp from the previous 184 hp. Peak torque is 400 Nm, up from 380 Nm. Injection pressure is 2,000 bar. The increased power cuts the 100 km/h spring by 0.4 seconds – it’s now 8.1 seconds.

Either way its an improvment.

I thought they had made this the twin turbo, but perhaps that's what our friends in the US are getting?
