This is interesting
So I got my production video today and everything looks great. Interestingly enough, my vehicle on the video has upgraded 309 wheels on it when I didn't order them! I ordered the 35i with the sport activity package, premium package, cold weather package and technology package + keyless entry, BMW apps and the premium sound system. I am fine with those wheels, but since I didn't order them, I don't plan on paying for them! Wonder if they will be charged for on the sticker, or if they just screwed up! The Vin number matches the vehicle vin on the video so I know it's my X3. Anyone else have this happen?

Ah ha! Maybe that's my X3! ha ha just kidding, but I did I order the 309's... suppsed to be done today
Can you see the interior in any part of the video? Seems our orders are very similar but I got oyster interior. We also ordered the same day and time about... hope they didn't mix em up. If they did screw up and you like the 309's don't say anything otherwise they'll tack on an exta 600 bucks. |

Well in my case it is a live shot at the very end where it shows your x3 being driven off the assembly line for the first time. It cleary shows "live camera" at the bottom of the screen so it is easy to tell what is live and what is not. The camera was down for the sunroof install so that was the only one that did not catch the car "live" that should have. We shall see what happens!

That is interesting indeed. Very rare for them to make that type of mistake, as the manufacturing supply pipeline is very sophisticated these days. Yet, certainly not impossible.
If it does indeed have the 309 wheels, they will be staggered (wider in the back) and they will have summer tires on them. If you don't want that setup, you have a couple choices: 1. Tell your dealer you didn't order those wheels and tell them you want them changed. They will probably just let you drive on them until they get the wheels/tires in that you want. 2. Don't say a word... find another X3 owner in your area that is drooling for them and trade. 3. Sell them and get another set (you'll make a profit). 4. Buy a set of winter wheels/tires and change them in the spring and fall.

Got it. Replied.
Very odd indeed! Looks like 309's unstaggered. If that is the case, will you keep them?

If they are all seasons, I'll def. keep them. That would be sweet if they are staggered, but if not, that's ok too. The mystery will be solved once she arrives at the dealer!
