Thats too bad... what dealer you got it from?? Town and Country or Autohaus?? I have to say the CA's there are only after your sale and nothing more.... used to go there but I bought mine at Parkview BMW this time and my CA has been wonderful even after delivery. She even asked if I wanted to participate in the xDrive driving event even after I bought the car and signed everything and even offered to get me accessories such as touch up paint and key chains with her employee discount.
Took 2 months from time to order to delivery... took only like 1 week for in transit... My CA even sent me the ETA sheet and production sheet when I asked for it. Hope everything goes well for you =S. |

I'm not in Toronto, but I suggest you relax. If the info says "in transit", that could mean anything, including sitting in a rail yard waiting to be loaded or unloaded. I don't think the dealer's 3 week estimate is too far off, all things considered. I think most dealers would rather err on the conservative side, then if you get it earlier, you are happy. As Colton said above, 2 months from order to delivery is what most of us experienced.
When did you order?

Predictably Town + Country... Just try Parkview BMW next time you buy a car... as well, i know that their car service isn't that good as their loners are usually not BMW (have to book well in advance in order to get a BMW loaner). However, Parkview BMW gives BMW loaners no matter what...

I ordered mine at the end April and I'm still waiting on mine. Production of the vehicle was done two Fridays ago. I was expecting it mid June but dealer kept delaying it.

Then you should have it around the end of July, on schedule.

Back to the OP. 2 months sounds like is the best case scenario. Waiting is hard. Best of luck! |

Thanks for posting....I guess I am not alone. I ordered mine June 8th. And by the looks of it, us Canucks have to wait 2 months for this car(better than a 6 month wait like others). Now I know I have to wait patiently...so let's bring out the marshmallows and sing Kumbaya while waiting for our cars....."misery loves company!!"

Hi owners, when you order the X3 (in Canada), is the roof rail a standard feature?
My dealer now tells me it is standard but I will need to pay $150 extra for it. I find this hard to believe. Long story. The car is now on its way to the dealer but I am going to fight real hard not to pay for this. |

You are right, if it is standard it should be a no cost option. The wife is guessing the dealer made a mistake and included it in the order to BMW. I tend to think she is nailed on. |

The rails are not standard without the M Sport package... It is a $150 option.

I was told the same, but it showed up in a week and a bit. I think they give you the worst case timing. There are a lot of handoffs and check points that have to happen as the car moves forward. Its not as simple as putting it on a truck and rolling out.
