I'm not sure why anyone that owns a modern BMW wouldn't just have the dealer service it. If $180 a year for properly documented service is too expensive, you own the wrong vehicle.

You pretty much own the most unreliable and slowest vehicles ever made by GM. Congratulations.

You're bragging about saving $50 a year in a BMW forum. You're lost. Go back to chevy forums.

well, make up your mind. If the X3 is in the same class as a jeep Cherokee then that's no better than a Chevy Equinox. My whole point to this is defending that the BMW X3 is a luxury vehicle and is far superior to any jeep, Chevy or cadillac. You got off track with my high priced dealer repairs and oil changes but if you look back there are posts about 1000 dollar brake jobs, 600 dollar valve cover jobs and 1100 dollar transmission services. If the X3 is no better than a jeep then why are these services so expensive, it's because it's a luxury vehicle.

Also, according to you, if BMW owners are doing their own oil changes then I'd say over half the people on this forum own the wrong vehicle. If you take your vehicle to the dealer for every problem then there is no reason for you to be here.

Oh, I wasn't aware the point of forums was to fix vehicles because we're too broke to bring it to the dealer.

You are the worst forum personality I have ever seen. You drive an X3 28i that you financed, stop acting like you're in the baller BMW game.

I wonder if he will say something about my cheap rims

You mean "...an X3 28i that his daddy paid for..."

I changed out the halogens on my wife's X3 with LED's and I added the LED strips in the front bumper. Makes a world of difference! She complained about the yellow halogens. She is much happier with the white LED's.

Plan on doing it with my wife's 2016 X3 also. She was wondering how come my 2015 Z4's headlights were so bright. I told her it was my $70,000 car compared to her $40,000 car :-)

Do you enjoy being flashed all the time when using your low beams? I've yet to see an LED "conversion" that didn't spill light in every direction it's not needed. The optics of a halogen light installation only work properly with a filament placed in a specific place. That is all but impossible to replicate with an LED replacement.

Slapping LEDs in the high beam light is neither here nor there as you don't use them when there is oncoming traffic.
