This is a scammer. He is pretending to be John Tanglewood. He has
misappropriated the forum name of the other user, going so far as to as to use the same city and state as the real John Tanglewood.

Yesterday, he posted a new thread asking about brake squeal on the F90. I copy and pasted the links for 14 different threads on this matter. He had four fake accounts, also being operated by him, that were appreciating each other. Then, I went to check out his post history. They’re all him offering “advice” (if you could call it that) and the “advice” is entirely AI generated content.

He was doing all this to inflate post count and reputation so he can scam someone else on here.

I am also cross posting this to the X3 forum and this thread because he is trying to scam members here, too. He posted a set of wheels for sale, then faked communication between him and one of the fake accounts (which all also have the same AI generated BS) from the post I mentioned above and then marked the items as sold, implying that the fake account purchased from him. This is all to make him look legit.

As soon as I exposed this yesterday, mods got involved and deleted his entire thread. Jason and Mani59, please get involved here to do the same thing again!

Finally got him banned!

EDIT — it looks like mods have removed his fake exhaust FS thread.
