iPad holder
Hi all,
Does anyone know if the pending iPad holder due in March for the backseat of the X3 is powered, or is it just an unpowered holder? Is it a factory install or dealer install too? thanks! |

As an accessory its got to be a dealer or DIY fit
From the pics it looks easy to install and adjust (manually)

does anyone have updates on this thing? Is it out in Europe yet? Just curious because in photos from the auto shows in Europe it looks like they were showing it off.
Any news on pricing for it? I mean its just a plastic holder, but I wouldn't expect BMW to charge less than $100 for it I am just thinking even at $100 for the holder and $500 for a base ipad, it would be a great alternative to rear seat entertainment, $600 vs $2000, heck I could get one for each of my kids and it would still be cheaper than rear seat entertainment and you could take the ipad out of the car for home use at night! I never wanted to buy an ipad (we have 2 laptops and an iphone) but now it might make sense. |

I looked up P/N: 51952186297 on both Bavauto and ECS. They're $175-$185 price range. Does anyone know if this work with the iPad 2? 51952186297 & 51952183852 are for left and right, I just don't know which is which or either one works both sides.
