A/C compressor whine & windows regulator creaking

1. I noticed a whining sound from my car and have finally narrowed it down to a/c compressor. The sound is evident when the a/c is activated but the whine is more pronounced when the temperature is warmer.

2. The second minor quibble is a creaking driver's side window regulator... it has a bit of a gravelly sound when operated.

Any of you guys have similar issues?

Not a big deal as the car is under warranty but I fully expect the mechanic to be "hard of hearing" when diagnosing my car.

Sorry to hear you have those problems. I would definitely pester the dealer until they fix it

Unfortunately, the biggest problem wou will have is getting BMW to acknowledge that there is anything wrong. Mine went in for a random knocking from the front and a noise behind the dash. They can't hear anything of course! Hope you get it sorted!
