Looks like we are all going to busy on the 28th then. Mines the same 26th dealer 28 collection. They tried today to sell me their protection package. £1250 includes the GAP and paint/seat protection plus 3off 6" scratch damage repair over 3 years. Seems little expensive to me. Think we should have picture frenzy when we collect them to see who's got the dirtiest on the way home.

I bought the paint/seal as I have had this on my previous two cars and it did keep them in good condition.
My dealer has offered the scratch cover for free, as they couldn't offer any other discount on the car purchase.

VikingOne, i think my dealer is trying to recoup the £2500 saving i got on the car so i don't think i will get it for free. Bless em, they keep trying also using another company for the finance i don't know where BMW get there finance offers from.

Had my 3.0D MSport delivered on Friday... very pleased with it! Been waiting long enough for it.

Jealous of your delivery. I've got another couple of weeks yet, wish I could have afforded the 3.0d, maybe next time. Enjoy the car, we deserve it after waiting 7 months.

I don't think I've had to wait this long for a new BMW in the last 15 years.. and funnily enough this is the one I've been waiting for more eagerly.. migrated from normal cars into my first 4x4, so wasn't sure how much I would be able to live with it.. but so far..

Just had a call from dealers, car now due with them on 29th Sept. So it looks like it is on the Independence II, which is a few days behind schedule.

Beginning to wonder where mine is. Still not showing on the WW site so it is not on the Elektra, which left the US yesterday and I have had no call from the dealer with a definitive delivery date. I can only assume mine is on the Independence II and that my dealer is being cautious...:

mine was direct from Southampton Docks as far as I know

Mine went to Thorne as was prepared there, all the manuals and pre-inspections are stamped Thorne

The ship Integrity docked yesturday, but I think most of us are awaiting the ship Independence 2. Good luck to all with cars on their way.
