Koni FSD & Eibach Pro-kit on Pre-LCI 35i

After hitting 60k shocks were pretty worn so decided to upgrade. Originally looked at B4’s to pair with factory springs but came across a good deal on FSD’s during BF. And of course the ball starts rolling and before I know it I’m looking for matching lowering springs. Being that it’s my family hauler primarily used by my wife, I didn’t want anything harsh or too low so that ruled out H&R.

Very happy with it so far. Handles great, soaks up the bumps and rake / clearance look very factory imo.

Picture below is with 17” snows.

nice, I put the FSD's on my 11 X3 35i this past fall, but kept the OEM springs. Feels great, but comparing it to the worn original shocks/struts with 125k on them

Put on 200 miles through crappy tri-state roads and could not be more pleased. Not that I was going out of my way to look for potholes but I-95 is terrible this time of the year but there wasn’t a moment I thought the ride was jarring. Car felt very composed coming onto exit ramp sweepers. For anyone who was on fence between Eibach and H&R, Eibach seems like clear winner unless you’re willing to sacrifice comfort for drop. I know it’s cliche but this combo of FSD/Eibach truly feels like what the M Sport package should’ve been.

Sorry to dig up an old post but I am seriously considering copying your combo on my non sport BMW X3.

How has it held up for you. Have the shocks ever bottomed out to the stops say going over a speed bump?

Koni say you should not use it with lowering springs but I see yourself and one other guy on this forum have used it.

Be great to hear your feedback.

Handles great, no regrets whatsoever. Maintains factory comfort with improved handling. The drop from the springs is really conservative so not an issue for the Koni.
