KW V2's installed in my 2008 MSport

I have never liked the suspension on my X3 and bought a set of KW V2's to hopefully improve the ride. I just had them installed on the weekend and have some tuning too do. Right now I set the dampening in the middle but it think I want to go softer, which means I need to rip the rear interior out again to get at the adjustments.

At the current settings the X3 handles extremely well and feels very planted. Acceleration, braking and handling have been noticeably improved.

The only downside is that I seem to have more noise in the cabin then before, the coilovers seem noisy compared to the stock suspension. I put new strut mounts on all 4 corners but didn't touch anything else.

Here are some before and after pics. I could easily tuck the tires if I wanted to, this is a little over half way down.

Awesome, i got my wife a X3 and i love the car but hate the ride, specially when going over speed bumps and dips on the road. So hard! Its great to know that this is an option.

I got a steal of a deal from the classifieds here, $1450 shipped and they were never used! The best deal I could find was $1600 new from a vendor. My mechanic only charged me $240 to install the set!

Funny! I have a 07 x3 MSport as well. Looks just like this one. We absolutely love the car. So much more fun to drive than my Merc C350! And I have no complaints whatsoever about the ride and suspension. But then I am German. I guess I am genetically predisposed to like a VERY FIRM suspension

The ride and handling is far superior to OEM! Now I have to get a set for my 135i
