First of all just want to say hi to everyone. My moms 2011 x3 28i needs a steering rack replacement. So i went ahead and took it to
the dealer myself. The dealer quoted me $3,200 labor excluded : Honestly I'm not the most knowledgable person when it comes to mechanical stuff but $3,200 just for a steering rack just seemed way too crazy. Labor is not even included. To make a long story short i'm looking for a indie shop that i can trust. I'm sure they will do it for much cheaper. Any recommendations? |

A little far, but Elite in Port Jefferson is great. They took care of my old 325 for years. Not cheap but wonderful work.
