Side Mirror

Hi,
I was told by the dealer that the new x3 20d doesn't have the folding side mirror but did not advise that it was an add-on when I order the car. After reading this forum and user manual, I realised there is this folding mirror feature but it is too late now.

I would like to find out even if the car does not have the auto folding mirror function, can I manually fold the side mirror? It helps when parking on a tight spot.

Thanks

The "standard" mirrors all fold, but it may not be obvious at first since they take considerable force.

Who would have thought? The dealer should have told me when I ask about the side mirror......his reply was no, it doesn't fold and I didn't pursuit, sigh

hi Degarfs,

i didn't know the side mirror can fold until i asked for the top view camera, then the dealer told me that mirror option need to be added in order to have the top view camera installed, otherwise, it won't work.....
thus, i understand folding mirror is part of the option for teh top view camera to be added, however, the price is calculated as diff option item.
cheers...
