Motorweek: Roadtest

Has anyone post this review yet?

It's a workout to say the car's whole name.

0-60 in 6.0 for the 35i. Was my wife driving it?

Motorweek... MPT's best show... Maryland Public Television is about 2 miles from my dealership where I"m taking deliver tomorrow. I've watched a bunch of reviews since picking the X3 and comparing it to the Q5 prior - that was one of my favorites... combination of liking what they said, the color choice on their tester = deep sea blue and the fact i've been watching Motorweek forever since its a local production.

Thanks for posting! my X3 looks sorta like that one but I have Mojave interior and i went w/ the 18"s not 19"s this vid was posted just last week on youtube

I thought it was kind of silly to single out the gear shift knob.
Yes, it’s different, but how hard is it really to get used to?

Too bad they made they made the common mistake of saying "Our X-Drive 35i sports twin turbos..." The "TwinPower" name for the N55 engine is confusing, but anyone publishing a review should at least read the spec sheet.

I was thinking the same thing. It is kind of sad how many professional reviews I have seen make this same mistake.

Interesting to compare videos of DSB in M Sport and SE

I still much prefer the more aggressive profile of the SE from the side but like the front and back of the M Sport

Journalists are as human as anyone else.

One article on the new Z4 here in Oz in one of our better known car magazines was a three page rant on how the Americans had built another American sports car for Amercians and it should stay in America!

Pity they make them all in Germany.

If the journalist gets it right - yahoo!
But based on track record, most dont even read the press releases, they just run on assumption.
Their job is easier that way.

+1. I think the M Sport looks a bit bloated from the side, but much better fore and aft.
