BMW F25 Screen upgrade

Hi all I have had my 2012 30d SE some time now but would like to upgrade the small screen to the larger 8.8" OEM screen. I have reversing 360 camera, sat nav but no DAB.

How hard is this to do? Am I right in thinking coding would be required? Amy how to guides? thanks

also very interested in doing this as well. have seen this various youtube videos and screens to buy (i.e. http://www.carnaviplayer.com/bmw-x3f...-screen-p-1155) ... curious if folks here have done the upgrade and how it works with the heads up display
