Higher RPM on startup - is this normal?
I'm sure this is nothing to worry about, but every time I start my 2014 X3 it sits at like 1300 RPM for about 10 seconds then drops down to a normal idle. I assume since it happens every time it is expected, just wondering if anyone else has that happen too.
Also, side note, why does my "service in xxxx miles" sometimes say 1000 and sometimes it says 3000 miles until service. If I check the diagnostics in iDrive it says the soonest service is 3000 miles for brakes. Just so weird that it changes the service miles. Oil was just done a month ago too |

2nd part, check the last time when they re-set the cbs since they did the oil change recently? check your service records to see |
